05/15/2009: MAAA Adapted Softball Conference Champions 2009
The C.I. Division North Conference Champion is Osseo with a 12-2-0 record. The C.I. Division South Conference is Dakota United with a 14-0-0 record. The P.I. Division North Conference Champion is Robbinsdale/Hopkins/Mound-Westonka (10-0-0). In the P.I. Division South Conference, Dakota United & South Suburban (7-1-0) are the Conference Co-Champions. Congratulations to our Conference Champion teams on a great regular season!

05/14/2009: 2009-2010 PI Schedules are complete and available online.

05/13/2009: MAAA Conference Hires Executive Secretary for 2009-2010
The MAAA Conference board selected Jim Muckenhirn to be the Conference Executive Secretary for the 2009-2010 season. Jim will conduct the daily operations such as web site updates, scheduling, standings, playoff seedings, awards, promotions and communications for the
conference begining in July 2009. The conference will be using rSchoolToday software for it's new web site to be completed this summer.

03/20/2009: MSHSL State Adapted Floor Hockey Tournament 2009
The Minnesota State High School League will hold the 2009 State Adapted Floor Hockey Tournament on Fri. March 20th through Sat. March 21st, 2009 at the Bloomington Jefferson H.S. Activity Center. In the C.I. Division North Bracket, Anoka-Hennepin (11-1-0) earned the #1 North seed. In the C.I. Division South Bracket, South Suburban (14-0-0) earned the #1 South seed. In the P.I. Division, Robbinsdale/Hopkins/Mound-Westonka (12-0-0) earned the #1 North seed and Dakota United (10-1-1) holds the #1 South seed. 11/11/2008: MAAA Adapted Soccer Conference Champions 2008
The 2008 C.I. Division North Conference Champion is Park Center with a 10-0-0 record. Dakota United & South Suburbn both finished 9-1-0 and will share the C.I. Division South Conference Championship. In the P.I. Division, Robbinsdale/Hopkins/Mound-Westonka won the North Conference Championship with a 10-0-0 record and Dakota United won the South Conference Championship with a 8-1-1 record. Congratulations to the Conference Champions for their great seasons!

The MAAA Conference Board announced the 2008 LeBahn-Prohofsky MVP Award recipients on May 14th, 2008.

05/14/2008: MAAA Appreciation Awards 2008
The MAAA Conference Board announced four Appreciation Award recipients on May 14th, 2008. The receipients were honored for their years of service and outstanding contributions to the advancement of Adapted Athletics

The C.I. Division North Conference Champion is St. Cloud with a 10-1-0 record. The C.I. Division South Conference has 3 Co-Champions this year due to a 3 team tie in points standings. The Co-Champions are Dakota United (10-2-1), Winona (10-2-1) and Owatonna (10-2-1) all with identical records. The P.I. Division North Conference Champion is Anoka-Hennepin (10-1-0). In the P.I. Division South Conference, Dakota United (11-0-0) won the Conference Championship. Anoka-Hennepin will hold the #1 North seed and Dakota United will hold the #1 South seed at the MSHSL State Adapted Floor Hockey Tournament. Congratulations to our Conference Champion teams on a great season!

02/28/2007: WINTER STORM GAME CANCELLATIONS
Due to the winter storm conditions, the MAAA Conference Board has announced that all regular season games after Wed. 2./28 are canceled.
The standings will be calculated counting all games played through the evening of 2/28. We will start playoffs as scheduled the week of March 5th, 2007. We realize that some of the final games may have impacted the play-off picture but do not believe there is an alternative in this situation. We hope everyone understands the decision. 11/07/2006: MSHSL State Adapted Soccer Tournament 2006
The Minnesota State High School League holds the 2006 State Adapted Soccer Tournament on Fri. November 10th through Sat. November 11th, 2006 at Stillwater H.S. In the C.I. Division, #1N - Stillwater (9-1-0) seeks their second consecutive state championship, while #1S - South Washington County (9-0-1) will attempt to capture their third MSHSL adapted soccer state championship. In the P.I. Division, #1N - Robbinsdale/Hopkins/Mound-Westonka (10-0-0) will seek their second consecutive state championship and #1S - Dakota United (9-0-1) will compete for their sixth MSHSL adapted soccer state championship. 05/30/2006: Lakeville-Burnsville-Farmington Start Team for 2006-07
In the fall of 2006 the MAAA South Conferences for C.I. & P.I. Adapted Soccer, Floor Hockey & Softball will welcome a new co-op team from Lakeville-Burnsville-Farmington schools. The schools previously had been a part of the Dakota United co-op team. The new co-op will be hosted by Lakeville South High School.

04/26/2006: 2006-2007 P.I. Division Schedule Drafts Available

04/19/2006: MAAA Announces 2006-2007 Conference Format
The MAAA Conference Board approved a North/South Conference Alignment for the P.I. Division begining in 2006-2007. Teams will now play only within their conference, playing each team home and away once during the regular season. The North/South Conference format was put in place for the C.I. Adapted Soccer & Floor Hockey seasons in 2005-2006 with great success. In 2007, C.I. Adapted Softball will also split into conferences.

The Minnesota State High School League will hold the 2006 State Adapted Floor Hockey Tournament on Fri. March 17th through Sat. March 18th, 2006 at the Bloomington Jefferson H.S. Activity Center. In the Gold (C.I.) Division North Bracket, Anoka-Hennepin (12-0-0) earned the #1 North seed. In the Gold (C.I.) Division South Bracket, Dakota United (11-1-0) earned the #1 South seed. In the Maroon (P.I.) Division, Anoka-Hennepin (11-1-0) earned the #1 seed based on a head-to-head tiebreaker with #2 seed Dakota United (11-1-0). 03/09/2006: MAAA Adapted Floor Hockey Conference Champions 2006
The Gold (C.I.) Division North Conference Champion is the Anoka-Hennepin Mustangs with a 12-0-0 record. The Gold (C.I.) Division South Conference Champion is the Dakota United Hawks with a 11-1-0 record. In the Maroon (P.I.) Division, the Anoka-Hennepin Mustangs and Dakota United Hawks both finished the regular season with a 11-1-0 record and will share the title of Conference Champions. Anoka-Hennepin will hold the #1 seed at the MSHSL State Adapted Floor Hockey Tournament as they defeated Dakota United in head-to-head competition during the regular season. 11/12/2005: MSHSL State Adapted Soccer Tournament 2005
The Minnesota State High School League held the 2005 State Adapted Soccer Tournament on Fri. November 11th through Sat. November 12th, 2005 at Stillwater H.S. In the Gold (C.I.) Division, Stillwater finished their regular season 11-0-0 (7-0-0 conference) earning them the #1 seed. In the semi-finals, Stillwater defeated #4 Dakota United 5-3 and #2 seed Robbinsdale-Hopkins-Mound Westonka (6-0-0 conference, 10-0-0 overall) was upset by #3 South Washington County 4-2. In the C.I. Division Championship game the Stillwater Ponies successfully completed their undefeated season by defeating #3 South Washington County 3-1. In the Maroon (P.I.) Division semi-finals, #1 seed undefeated 2-time defending champion Dakota United (10-0-0) defeated #4 Anoka-Hennipen (7-3-0) by a score of 2-0 and #2 seed South Suburban (9-1-0) was upset by #3 Robbinsdale-Hopkins-Mound Westonka (7-2-1) by a score of 5-2. In the championship game, #3 Robbinsdale-Hopkins-Mound Westonka upset the undefeated #1 Dakota United Hawks by a score of 2-0. The Gold (C.I.) Division North Conference Champion is Robbinsdale-Hopkins-Mound Westonka with a 6-0-0 conference record (10-0-0 overall). The Gold (C.I.) Division South Conference Champion is the Stillwater Ponies with a 7-0-0 conference record (11-0-0 overall). The Maroon (P.I.) Division Conference Champion is Dakota United with a 10-0-0 record. 2004-2005 Season

06/06/2005: Kids Day at the 25th National Veterans Wheelchair Games
On Thursday, June 30th, 2005 the National Veterans Wheelchair Games will host a Kids Day for kids of all abilities ages 6-16, at the Minneapolis Convention Center. The days events include slalom, table tennis, softball and flag folding. There will also be some evening activities. This FREE event starts at 9:30am and ends at 2pm. The Minnesota State High School League held the 2004 State Adapted Soccer Tournament on Fri. November 12th through Sat. November 13th, 2004 at Stillwater H.S. In the Gold (C.I.) Division, #1 seed Minneapolis Roosevelt successfully defended their title by defeating Park Center 6-5 in the state championship game. In the Maroon (P.I.) Division, #1 seed Dakota United repeated as state champions by defeating South Suburban 8-0. Both teams entered the tournament undefeated in the regular season. 8/27/2004: Rochester Raiders P.I. Floor Hockey Announces 3rd Annual Andrew Cormack Memorial Tournament (non-conference pre-season invitational tournament).

7/29/2004: MSHSL releases revised Adapted Athletics Eligibility Guidelines and Adds P.I. Adapted Athletics Physical Examination Form. The guidelines go into affect for the 2004-2005 season and are available to view online.

11/01/2003: MAAA Adapted Soccer Conference Champions 2003
The Gold (C.I.) Division Conference Champion is South Washington County with a 10-1-1 record. The Maroon (P.I.) Division Conference Champion is Dakota United with a 10-0-0 record. Both teams will be the #1 seeds for their divisions at the MSHSL State Adapted Soccer Tournament. Congratulations to both teams! 8/7/2003: MSHSL approves revised Adapted Athletics Eligibility Guidelines and changes divisions names. The guidelines go into affect for the 2003-2004 season and are available to view online. As a part of the revisions, the names of our Adapted Divisions have changed. The M.H. (Mentally Handicapped) Division will be has been renamed to the C.I. Division (Cognitive Impairments). The P.O.H.I. (Physical or Other Health Impairments) Division has been renamed to the P.I. Division (Physical Impairments).

6/1/2003: State Adapted Softball Tournament 2003
The Minnesota State High School League held the 2003 State Adapted Softball Tournament on Fri. May 30th through Sat. May 31st, 2003 at Hopkins H.S. Lindbergh Center. In the M.H. Division, the Osseo 79ers won a record 4th consecutive State Adapted Softball Championship by defeating co-conference champion South Washington County with a score of 12-5. In the P.O.H.I. Division, defending tournament champion Robbinsdale/Hopkins/Mound-Westonka defeated #3 Minneapolis South in a close 3-2 game. 5/16/2003: MAAA Announces The LeBahn-Prohofsky MVP Award Winners
The Gold (M.H.) Division MVP Award went to Darin Kingsberg of the Park Center/Maple Grove/Osseo 79ers. The Maroon (P.O.H.I.) Division Award went to Michael Boss of the Robbinsdale Robins. Congratulations to the 2002-2003 Award Winners!

4/3/2003: Web Site Changes! As you may notice the web site looks a little different. The look of the web site was adjusted some and the site has been reorganized. The biggest change is the Schedule and Scores pages have been combined into one page to make it easier to update and follow. Also you can view more detailed history on seasons since 2001 in the History archive. There you will find past seasons game scores, standings and tournament brackets. 3/18/2003: State Adapted Floor Hockey Tournament 2003 Brackets
The Minnesota State High School League held the 2003 State Adapted Floor Hockey Tournament on Fri. March 14th through Sat. March 15th, 2003 at Stillwater H.S. Maple Grove defeated Owatonna for the state championship in the Gold (M.H.) Division. Rochester defeated Robbinsdale for the state championship in the Maroon (P.O.H.I.) Division. 2/26/2003: NOTICE - Adapted Softball Officials & Coaches Meeting Date Change! The meeting date for the 2003 Adapted Softball Rules Interpretation meeting has been changed to APRIL 7, 2003. 6/3/2002: MSHSL State Adapted Softball Tournament 2002 Results
In the M.H. Division, Osseo won their third consecutive MSHSL State Adapted Softball Championship against St. Paul Humboldt. In the P.O.H.I. Division, Robbinsdale entered the tournament as the #4 seed and went on to win the MSHSL State Adapted Softball Championship. Congratulations to all teams on another fantastic state tournament!

5/28/2002: Adapted Softball Regular Season Completed, see standings for information. In the P.O.H.I. Division and the M.H. Division, Osseo finished their seasons undefeated and were named M.A.A.A. Conference Champions. Congratulations!

3/16/2002: MSHSL State Adapted Floor Hockey Tournament 2002 Results. In the M.H. Division, Winona won their first MSHSL State Adapted Floor Hockey Championship. In the P.O.H.I. Division, Robbinsdale won their second consecutive (5th overall) MSHSL State Adapted Floor Hockey Championship. Congratulations to all teams on another fantastic state tournament!

3/13/2002: Adapted Floor Hockey Regular Season Completed, see standings for information. In the P.O.H.I. Division, Robbinsdale and Rochester were named M.A.A.A. Conference Co-Champions. In the M.H. Division, Winona was awarded the M.A.A.A. Conference Championship.

3/2/2002: New M.A.A.A. Logo Completed! The logo will be used on official M.A.A.A. information and conference awards. [View the logo]

1/11/2002: Team Contact Listing in the Member's Zone has a new format! Each team in the P.O.H.I. and M.H. Division now has their own team page with contact information in the Member's Zone. This is where coaches, officials and athletic directors can list their up-to-date contact information and home game site information.
Also, game scores are now being posted and standings updated. Attention Coaches! Please remember to report your scores to us at scores@mnadaptedathletics.com and the newspapers. Please let your opponents coach know of this web site, it is important that we get the word out about this site and get all coaches involved. Thanks!
