7 North & 7 South Conference teams. Hudson is not eligible for MSHSL Tournaments, leaving 6 South Conference teams eligible for seedings.

8 teams will qualify for the MSHSL State Tournament.

Teams will be ranked within their conference based on final regular season conference results, per tiebreaker guidelines.

Any non-conference games will not be considered.

If the lower playoff seed upsets the higher seed, they will take their spot in the state brackets regardless of record. (No re-seeding for state tournament is done regardless of record.)

In the North Conference with 7 teams there will be a "Play-in Game" for the #6N Seed. The winner of the play-in game will continue in the state seedings playoffs as the #6N team
